Club History

Established in 1933, the Renton Fish & Game Club has been open and serving the community for more than 90 years. The club is located about 5 miles east of Renton. We are one of the oldest and the largest shooting ranges in King county. For over a half century, we have been providing a safe place to shoot, learn about shooting sports, and the safe use of firearms through various training programs.

The Renton Fish & Game Club is a sports conservation club. The bulk of our 40 acre site is preserved as a wildlife sanctuary. All sorts of plants and animals make their homes on the club grounds. The club engages in numerous conservation activities throughout the year such as stocking streams with fish as part of the Bellevue Stream Team and acting as stewards of Cavanaugh Pond. The club participates in several conservation projects around the state every year.

ASI

ASI is focused on giving you a chance to practice in a way that’s fun, and builds social connections with other gun owners.

It consists of a series of beginner friendly courses oriented on the practical use of handguns — along with a scoring system that promotes a relaxed, friendly attitude (like a bowling league). ASI shoots are competitions, but we are more concerned about having fun and learning something along the way than fighting for every point.

Renton Steel Dragons

The Renton Steel Dragons are a team in the Scholastic Action Shooting Program (SASP) where our kids from 5th grade and up competitively shoot steel plates as fast as 0.2 seconds per plate!!!

5-Stand Shotgun

5 Stand shooting is now available every weekend during the Summer. Check in at the Shotgun office for more information.

International Trap

International trap shooting, also known as Olympic trap, is a shotgun discipline where shooters aim at clay targets launched unpredictably from 15 trap machines. Competitors rotate through five stations, with targets flying at varying angles and speeds. It is a challenging event featured in the Olympics and governed by the ISSF.

Scholastic Clay target Program

The RF&GC Crushers aka Renton Crushers is a youth shotgun shooting program working to sustain and grow youth shooting sports by providing coaching, competition and financial support to our athletes who benefit by learning safety, accountability, teamwork and citizenship. We compete in the shotgun sports of trap, sporting clays and skeet. Anyone from 5th grade through college is eligible to compete.
